UofH November 11th

Charlie McGill
UofH Psych Internship 11/11/2019

This week was a very productive one, which I'm happy about since it means I'm closer and closer to starting my literature reviews. I started off this visit with data entry work and some data checking. I was able to check six sets of data, double what I checked last week. This was because these data sets didn't have many discrepancies, so there wasn't much to fix. I had only planned to check these sets of data before continuing my paper work, but since there wasn't much to check I also did a second entry of data.
After this I read an article to better understand what reliability and validity is in psychology. It's important that I fully understand all the concepts I'll be working with before I begin my literature searches. The chapter was really interesting, and I find it very fun to learn about various psychology concepts since they're very interesting.
Overall, this week wasn't too interesting: there wasn't anything new I can talk about and nothing out of the ordinary happened. However, it was very productive and I got a lot of work done so it was a great week.
